Counting to 10

I almost counted to 10 tonight, voluntarily without any probing. I said "one, teeoo, thee, four, five, six, then said eight, nine, and yeh" (and clapped, of course)! After that Mommy told me what a good job I had done and then I did it again...I think I surpised Mommy that I could do this...

Allergic to cashews

A few weeks ago, Daddy shared a tiny little piece of a cashew and a peanut with me. Shortly afterwards, I broke out with hives around my mouth. Mommy and Daddy took me to the quick care doctor and I didn't have any respiratory issues, they gave me benedryl, and I headed home. Mommy made me an appt with my pediatrician and she sent me to an allergy specialist. They tested me for peanut, cashew, pecan, walnut, and an almond allergy. It turns out that I am allergic to the cashew. I am glad it is not a peanut, because I love peanut butter. Now Mommy has to carry and epi pen with her and I have one at daycare too. I will have to be very careful what I eat, but it could have been a lot worse. All is good....

Uncle Rusty and Danielle came to visit

Uncle Rusty and Danielle came to visit me (and Mommy and Daddy too, but mostly me). They also brought along some of Daddy's friends from Lincoln (Dan, Steve, and Jason H). We had a good time at our house. They played a lot with me in the back yard and chased me around the house.

Visit from Namma, Aunt Amber, and cousins

I forgot to put a post on here that Namma Johnson, Aunt Amber, and cousins Skyler, Tierra, and Zander came to visit during the end of June. We had a fun weekend.

This weekend, Nana and Papa Dunn came to visit me. Daddy was gone so it was just Mommy, me, Nana, and Papa. We had a fun weekend, but I missed Daddy too.

Fourth of July, 2009

This weekend was pretty laid back. We spent some time with friends and the rest of the time we just spent time together as a family. Mommy and Daddy inflated a small pool in the backyard (I think it was one they were supposed to have inflated last year when I was a baby) and I played in that and in the sprinkler for hours. What a great way so celebrate America's birthday!
